            4th        Sarah Spencer's Transatlantic Jazz Band

         World class saxophonist Sarah Spencer brings her band of merry men put a spring in your step and a smile in your heart.  From the soaring notes of ‘Magic’ Mike Henry on cornet to the Pop’s Foster-esque slap of ‘Lord’ Jim Swinnerton’s bass, this band will not disappoint!

         11th  John Maddocks Down Home Jazzers

urn out for John Maddocks and his  Dorset-based traditional jazz band. They have been playing more than 30 years, extensively in the UK and Holland, Germany and Belgium. Prepare to hear some stunning clarinet solos in between the ensemble work, and dance away the night!  

         18th            The New Orleans Jazz Bandits

        Always an AJC favourite, this band began more than 7 decades ago under legendary trombonist Colin Kingwell. Now ably fronted by their spiritual leader Ron Rumbol (of  Vintage Excelsior fame) and MC'd by sprightly cornetist Allen Beechey (of the eponymous Bright Stars of Jazz), this band promises an evening of energetic New Orleans tunes. Heather Birt's double bass and Malc Murphy's legendary drumming join Tim Wake's banjo to drive the rhythm section, with Rob Pearce on trombone completing the front line. Not one to miss!

         25th              The Mark Aston Quintet 

         A creative jazz quintet led by Mark Aston, a talented multi-instrumentalist and freelance jazz musician based in Teddington.
